Information we collect

We collect the information needed to provide MyAvatarPic: account details such as your email address and authentication identifiers; photos you choose to upload or capture; generation choices and text instructions; technical data such as browser, device, IP address and service logs; and purchase status or transaction references.

We record first-party product events such as page visits, selected options, generation outcomes, checkout steps and downloads. Analytics records use a temporary browser-session identifier and do not include uploaded photos, prompts, passwords, full transaction references or full payment-card details.

Payment details are processed by Dodo Payments. MyAvatarPic receives the purchase status and transaction reference needed to provide access, but does not receive or store your full card number.

How we use information

• Authenticate your account and keep sessions secure.
• Check input quality and generate the profile pictures you request.
• Provide downloads, purchase entitlements and customer support.
• Prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• Understand product performance and improve the service.
• Meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

Photos and generated images

Photo previews and basic quality checks begin in your browser. When you request generation, selected photos, choices and instructions are sent securely to our configured image-generation provider so it can create the requested output.

Generated results are stored in protected object storage so paid users can securely view and download them. Source selfies are not stored by MyAvatarPic after the generation request completes. We do not intentionally use uploaded photos to identify you in unrelated contexts or sell them as biometric data. Processing providers may retain data for limited periods under their own security, abuse-monitoring and legal requirements.

Service providers

We use service providers that process data on our behalf or as independent controllers where applicable. These currently include Supabase for authentication and related account data, OpenAI for image generation, Dodo Payments for checkout and payment processing, and hosting, security and analytics providers needed to operate the site.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers needed to deliver MyAvatarPic, when you direct us to do so, to protect users and the service, during a business transfer, or when law requires it.

Retention

We keep account, entitlement, security and transaction-reference data for as long as needed to provide the service, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Browser previews disappear when local browser data is cleared. You may ask us to delete account data, subject to records we must keep for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or transaction purposes.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security. Our providers may process data in countries other than your own and use legally recognized transfer safeguards where required.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal data, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity first.

Updates

We may update this policy as the service and providers change. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when legally required.
